Born a girly girl in 1988, Phylicia committed early in life to the art of cosmetology and has been doing hair and makeup since the age of 2.  Professionally trained at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Erie, Phylicia has been a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Pennsylvania since 2007.

A 2012 graduate of Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Phylicia supported herself using her mad scissor skills at Famous Hair while earning a dual Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Forensic Accounting.  Up until 2015 she spent her days crunching numbers as a tax accountant. She started her hair and makeup business in April of 2015 and has never looked back. Phylicia serves both the Erie and Pittsburgh areas as an on-location makeup artist and hair stylist.

Phylicia’s passion for hair and makeup artistry has made her a firm believer that great hair and makeup aren’t what make a woman beautiful — they are a catalyst for helping a woman realize the beauty that is already there. She prides herself on perfection and is committed to empowering her clients and showcasing their beauty.
